Holiday in Fuerteventura!

We enjoyed one week of perfect weather and endless beaches in the Canary Islands. Nia loved the mini-club and kids' disco. Conny appreciated swimming in warm ocean water and taking long walks along the beach. And John was just glad to get away from it all!

Bowling at Croughton

We all went bowling at Croughton--Nia, John, Corinna, Siegfried, and Karin. The surprise winner was Conny, who ended her game with 4 strikes in a row--the whole bowling alley was amazed!!!

After Croughton, we went to Bicester. Everybody else shopped while Nia had a great time at the playground.

The perfect day for Nia: swimming, bowling, pizza, playground!

Yet another bluebell walk...

...this time with the Millennium Kids in Shenley Wood, followed by a tiny leaving-do for the Sedges.

Spring is springing

Public Art

Nia brought a book home from school titled "Public Art". We decided to go find some ourselves. We visited Milton Keynes' world-famous concrete cows.

Bluebell Walk

The Schell family accepted an invitation from the Milton Keynes Parks Trust to walk through Shenley Wood with a guide. He told us 400 years worth of history, then showed us all the action, including everything blooming and ready to bloom. 

Easter at Stowe with the Fischers

We enjoyed our annual Easter stroll through Stowe Gardens, near Buckingham. Nia, Merle, and Max did the quiz, and all won the prize. Here they are modelling to be future statues on the vacant pedestal.

Biker Chicks

Corinna has begun training for her marathon trek in September: Oxford to Cambridge by bike in support of the BHF. Here she is, training with Nia around Furzton Lake. 

Kew Gardens

Nia and Corinna said goodbye to our visitors at the airport in London, then stopped by Kew Gardens on the way back home. 

American Visitors

Seeing London with the American delegation... Michael and Omi/Mom/Donna visited for a week and took in all the sights, including London through the Eye!

English Spring

Springtime in the UK--but the only dragonflies I see this time of year are painted... 

Florida!

We enjoyed a wonderful winter holiday in Florida. Nia met Aurora at the Princess Breakfast (EPCOT). But that's not all! The good times included Omi and Grandad, Grammy and Grampa, MiLu, Imman and the Ghauris, Howard Beach Park, Busch Gardens, Sanibel Island, Clearwater Beach, EPCOT, Sea World, Sea World, and Sea World.
